Research Experience in the following areas of study:







--Aquaponics

     Aquaponics is the combination of aquaculture (fish farming) and hydroponics (soil-less plant growing). I have experience building and maintaining aquaponic systems. This research has greatly increased my interest in local food production systems and their relation to Public Health. 







-Wildlife Tracking 

    My ability to identify animal tracks has greatly increased this year through this research. It required a great deal of field work and time spent outdoors, however, data management was done inside on computers. The biggest success of this project this year was the documenting of a bobcat on ICNL. Bobcats are super elusive animals, but they certainly live here.
